@Cooking Club of America......Don't know where else to ask this. Comments won't let me post a picture. I have an old white plastic (what looks like a pastry scraper. It has 4 holes on the top with different sizes that make no sense to me! It has "Cooking Club of America" stamped on it. Please help!
Thank you !!!!
I'm writing a short story and this is such a a great reference video
The music is a little much
he messed it up
Can't handle the mindless jangling in the background.
Saved me so much time and made it easy. Glad that seen your video, thanks
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. My neighbour just gave me two pheasants and two partridges so will be trying this out now. Greetings from the Scottish Highlands.
Great to see a video where they don't waste half the bird!
Here because my dog has come close twice, to grabbing one the last two mornings lol 😂
Dont you hang your pheasants.. in the uk they are hung for 24 to 72 hours 1-3 day i prefer 24 hour hang as the mest is to gamey for me any longer also a lot of younger people find it easier to eat with less time hung but my mother, gandparents ect older generation like the gamey flavour and want a bird hung for the full 3 days
jesus christ
I’m surprised he’s using a wooden cutting board for raw meat!
Heya, never prepped a pheasant before and ive very easily learnt how to prep it thanks to you!
In England we don't piss about like that field dress it mate shoot it not head wiv a .22 air rifle dnt need shot guns over ere ther that thick hit wiv that , or run it over wiv a 2001 punto...haha. shoot it spread its wings stand on them pull its feet up right fast left wiv whole breast and legs .ten second max
Great Video.....Excellent explanation. You should get yourself a new cameraman. This one is too shaky.
Brilliant thanks very much from the UK
Nice! One of the first people who does it right , no waste! It bugs the crap out of me people breast birds and throw the rest away! I use a heavy scissors instead of a knife , works as good.
A valuable ice cream spoon can be obtained here. ICE CREAM SCOOP Stainless Steel Spring Handle Spoon Masher Cookie Kitchen NEW
Seems surprisingly easy, I guess that shows you're good at it.
Cameraman was so wild. Lol
Great video. I harvested two today and realized what brutally close shots they were when I went to field dress. 😆 kinda messy.
Let them fly . . . if your a decent shot you will get them with less meat damage.
@@toga1022 They flew...just way too close and I probably used a bit heavy on the shells. We were walking to go duck hunting if that gives you an idea of shells I had on me. I didn't expect to run into pheasants on the way.
TO LAZY TO PLUCK THEM , WHATS THE MATTER WITH YOU , DONT YOU HAVE ANY CLASS ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
hands down the best video on breaking a pheasant down, thanks!
Catch them by hand lol
No, thats for my Brittany, she brings them back in her mouth, no shot needed.
Sorry but you gotta put some ice cream in the cone
Yum! Thanks for the lesson!
Thanks brother man! Getting 30+ acres and planning on raising pheasant and bees. I have two third year hives and wanted to make sure I knew how to clean the birds before I started planning enclosure layout. I look forward to the day I have extra for meat and feathers. So excited! Thanks again! Excellent explanation. Do you ever accidentally pop the guts? Do you raise your own? How do you break their neck or do you always hunt them? 😶... a friend of mind thought their chicken was dead but it started walking around and continued to live for three more years with a broken neck. Straight diabolical! 😧 Just saying, it’s in the back of my head. Should I just give it head a good wack? Is cleaning fish easier? I can clean the heck out of a mess of bluegill/bass/crappie! 😋
Totally new to this. Great simple video, but how long do you hang the bird before hand and do you cut the neck to bleed it? Thanks
I also keep the Gizzard and the Neck, because when cleaned they're really delicious
This video was how I learned to successfully make pie pastry over 20 years ago. Thanks Andrew.
I like this piece Mr. Chef!
Great video and great tips, thanks, I usually leave the skin on the breast to keep the meat moist when cooking. I like your method of keeping the feathers so that I can dry the hide/feathers and put them on my decoys. The ducks and geese can see the real feathers and come in for sure
So, you really expect me to hack up a perfectly good chicken breast just to remove a tiny wishbone. No thanks, I'll just wait until after the bird is done. SMDH...
Zimmern screwed up, but you can do it without slicing the meat like he did ua-cam.com/video/B0WOllw8Xzk/v-deo.html
Also wondering how long you brined.
Good stuff man, I bet it was delicious!
Sure wastes a lot of food when peeling!
Have we really reached a point in time that everything has to be a music video..... we can’t do shit without music being involved?
Have you ever uploaded a video to UA-cam ?
Such a stupid thing to complain about damn
THANKS FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO CUT THE CHEESE
I need that portion scoop!
Dude, trying to concentrate on your content and learn something but can't put up with annoying music. Doesn't need it.
Best way to clean a rooster in my opinion. Great video.
No wonder those pheasants are endangered.
Idk who told you pheasants were endangered but they have you terribly mistaken.
They are heavily breeded cause it's the most favorite bird for shooting and hunting
Probably thought that because pheasants in Michigan went extinct. However they are being brought back.
but i love icecream
Great video. Id like to point out that if you plan on putting your bird in the freezer, you should leave a leg on to prove the bird was a male. Just for liability purposes.
Agree, here in South Dakota it's required
I do that in Ireland too , hens are a no go males only here
😅 police looking in my fridge yea right…
@@fireguy2995The thought processes were a little less than stellar...
The feds are notorious for unwarranted checking of freezers here in Indiana
Is it just me or does this guy look a lot like Ari Shaffir?? 😂
Nice dish
Motherfucers nonveg people are animal and cruel
Well that was entirely useless
if you are going to eat the bottom of the stalk you have to peel them ... or throw them away
Thank you Uncle Fester.
